1. Should be used in OBDII appliance (or EU OBD standard) series vehicles in case of malfunction. You can open the engine hood to find the label as below. It tells you the OBDII certification, then you can install. If there is a diagnostic communication link (TDCL) under the steering wheel. (Most of the vehicles after 2006 have been mounted with TDCL)
2. Find out the 16 pin diagnostic port. Make sure it can be connected with host OBD cable or bluetooth OBD well enough.
