Circuit Working Temperature: -20??to 70??/span>
Temperature Sensor: NTC 50K B=3950
Probe Temperature Resistance: little black probe is 120?? metal loop probe is 110??/span>
Overall Dimensions (PCB) Board Dimensions: 34mm*19mm*11mm (do not include extended connector; 8mm of the fan connector is out)
Factory Default: minimum output 20%, accelerated temperature 30?? accelerated width 5??/span>
Under this temperature, it will accelerate holding the thermal probe for a while and it will maximize the speed with the thermal probe under your arm for about 2 minutes
The Controller is designed to combine manual control with automatic temperature control.
Manual Control:
Setup: do not install temperature sensor
Click the button: speed up (PWM up 5%)
Double click the button: speed down (PWM down 5% ; do not double click too fast)
The highest speed: No. 3 indicator light keeps on
The lowest speed: No. 1 indicator light keeps on
Kindly reminder: keep it running for 20 seconds when the speed is changed to store the speed; No. 2 indicator light will blink rapidly within 20 seconds and when there is no rapid blinking, it means that the speed is stored.
Automatic Temperature Control:
Operating Mode Setting:
Setup: install temperature sensor
The lowest speed: manually setting speed
Automatic temperature control: when the actual temperature is above the accelerated temperature, fan rotation speed accelerates smoothly with rising temperature ; when the temperature reaches or is above the full speed temperature(accelerated temperature plus temperature acceleration section), the fan has full speed.
Example Illustration: with base line 20%, accelerated temperature 35?? temperature acceleration section 15??and when the probe temperature is under 35?? the output signal is 20% all the time; when the probe temperature is above 35?? the controller will add the output signal smoothly according to temperature rise to make the fan accelerate; when the probe temperature is above or equal to 50??(35+15), the controller outputs 100% signal to make the fan maximize the speed. As for fans’ actual rotation speed, there will be some difference according to different fans’ specific performance index.
Operating Mode Setting:
First shut off the electricity and remove the fan; press the setting button to power up the controller; keep pressing the setting button for about 3 seconds until the 3 indicator lights all have double flash at the same time; when a single indicator light has double flash one time, it is mode setting state. The controller has 3 operating modes with No. 1, No. 2 and No. 3 indicator light having double flash respectively. The modes can be switched by pressing the button shortly. Long-press the button when a mode is set to come back to the working state.
Mode A (No. 1 Light) : Normal PWM fan control mode (default mode) is used for Intel standard 4-line PWM fan control.
Mode B (No. 2 Light) : Normal reverse logic PWM fan control mode is used for most reverse logic 4-line fan control. The fans’ rotation speed changes in the reverse direction. It is full speed when the control line connects negative pole.
Mode C (No. 3 Light) : Reverse logic fan 80% control mode is used for the extremely rare reverse logic fans. The fans’ rotation speed changes in the reverse direction under the normal mode control. It stops rotating when the control line connects negative pole.
