Description:
The Motor Shield is a driver module for motors that allows you to use ARDUIN0 to control the working speed and direction of the motor. Based on the Dual Full-Bridge Drive Chip L298, it is able to drive two DC motors or a step motor. The Motor Shield can either be powered directly by ARDUIN0 or by an external 5V~15V power supply via the DC jack. This module can be used for the development of microrobots and intelligent vehicles, etc.
The defined pins are D8~D13 on the ARDUIN0/Seeeduino board. D8, D11, D12, D13 are 4 output pins for controlling the speed or the direction of the motor. D9, D10 are enabled pins for two channels of the Motor Shield. So mostly you would use these 6 pins for your motor control, and you are able to drive at most two motors from one shield.
